Men’s Basketball Plays in CUNYAC Championship

The Bulldogs played in the first round of  the  CUNYAC/Con Edison Basketball Championship this past Friday taking on the number six seed (9-17) Hunter College Hawks. The Bulldogs came up short in a losing effort that saw the Hawks advancing and ending the Bulldogs’ season. In a 8-71 victory  for the Hunter College Hawks, it was a close contest all the way through with Hunter pulling it out with a 9-0 run in the fourth quarter and a three-point play by Hunter college player Valdon Baptise.

Brooklyn junior guard Maynard Grant IV led the way in the game-high with 20 points. Senior center Enees Nikovic had his 14th double-double of the season with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Senior guard Chris Mcllhatton and Niv Konfino each had nine points.
